Remove duplicate value found in candidate Cell Phone field
Use Case and Business Need
Taleo is creating duplicate values for a candidate's Cell Phone field which has caused hiring errors.
After opening an SR (SR 3-18670754034) for this issue, we tried the following steps to troubleshoot. None provided any success.
- They noted field is text input type was set in the candidate file, and to add an Input Mask in the Cellular Number field. Since this is a standard/global field and different cell phone number formats will be used, this would not be ideal for us.
- The second recommendation is to put a label text via Textool Change Request. Providing additional label to the text field did not work either because they do not have visibility that they provided duplicate records due to the HTML back end coding.
- Open a ticket with Oracle Support integration for them to reload the candidate file to remove the HTML coding.
