Replicate the same drill down functionality on an OTBI Dashboard when running in EPM Workdpace

Use Case and Business Need

Oracle introduced the ability to drill from an OTBI report using the Payables Transactions - Real Time subject area in a recent release of ERP Cloud. The functionality works well when running the dashboard through Reports and Analytics but to provide a comprehensive suite of reports we have to use a combination of OTBI Dashboards and FRS reports.

As FRS reports can only be ran through EPM Workspace, this has become the primary landing page for running all reports (OTBI/FRS).

Currently the action link only gives you an error when trying to drill to the AP Workbench. It would be good to have the same functionality in Reports and Analytics replicated in the EPM Workspace so end users only have a single page for running all types of reports.

1. Which EPM UI are you running the report from?

2. Does the user trying to drilldown to the Payables Invoices have access to the Payables invoices?

3. When the same report is run from Reports and Analytics by the same user, are you able to drilldown?

2. Does the user trying to drilldown to the Payables Invoices have access to the Payables invoices?

Yes, full access has been provided, when selecting the action link you see an error 404 --Not Found - From RFC 2068, server not found.

3. When the same report is run from Reports and Analytics by the same user, are you able to drilldown?

Yes, drilldown directly to AP workbench
