How increment automatically the date parameter value of a program which is scheduled

For a custom report there are 2 date parameters and we are trying to schedule the program with some dates and we want to schedule the program for every 1 hr.. and we want to increment the date parameter timestamp need for every 1 hr..automatically.

For example:

when we are scheduling the program the date parameter value is 05-02-2019 00:00:00 which we provide manually and schedule the program for every 1 hour after 1 hour the program need to submit automatically with data parameter as 05-02-2019 01:00:00 (date parameter need to increment by 1 hour automatically)

Use Case and Business Need

There is a custom report which have data parameter and business wants to run the same report every 1 hour in this case data parameter need to updated automatically

The requirement is not clear to me.

There's already agent capability that can schedule report delivery at certain frequency. Can you not have your report run off the current date time or some offset? That way it will take into account the time it gets scheduled.

Please let me know which point you don't understand?

For example:

1)  There is a report with 2 date and timestamp as parameters (From_Date and To_Date)  which is scheduled,  at the time scheduling we give the dates as below and frequency we give as every 1 hour the program needs to be schedule.

                From_Date : 05-02-2019 01:00:00

               To_Date : 05-02-2019 02:00:00

2) Report will run first time at above given dates with timestamp.

3) After 1 hour the program will schedule with same dates which we give at the time scheduled but business requirement is the dates (From_Date and To_Date) need to be incurment automatically as below.

  From_Date : 05-02-2019 02:00:00

  To_Date : 05-02-2019 03:00:00

Thanks for the clarification. My previous comment then still applies.

Please find the attached word document where we follow the standard steps to schedule the program but still date parameters are not incremented based on the frequency which we provided.

Am not aware of any ESS capability that will automatically readjust report parameters based on the job schedule.

If you want to pursue this approach further you may want to pose your question in a different forum.

What I suggested above instead is for you to evaluate if instead of depending on the report parameters perhaps you can directly correlate the date range you want to use in your report to the current system date and time e.g.

transaction date within system date and system date - 5 mins

Some times business may run the report manually also, if i hardcode time is report it will not work if business run manually.
