Definitely needed. Will be promoting this with our Working Group.

Agreed, this is much needed functionality. Audit exists around the objects in the BI Catalog, but now Admin configuration like Delivery Channels or Runtime Configuration properties.

Every configuration. Everything going through the change management process should have a full audit trail using Audit Policies. Cmon Oracle how about upping your game… This is like playing whac-a-mole.

Yes... really helpful for troubleshooting and audit purposes also.

Agreed - this is a key gap in auditing options - would particularly want to be able to audit changes to the domain names that BI Publisher reports can be sent to.

Oracle has recently ‘archived’ a bunch of great ideas because they have not yet got enough votes from the community. Hopefully the community provides more votes to keep this Idea alive.

This idea shouldn't be archived this is needed to check the changes performed in BI Configuration when multiple people are performing updates to these settings.

This is a must have feature. Now we are facing audit questions on how to ensure the person with BI admin role to perform configuration does not do more than what he is asked to do, and we do not have any log or audit trail to prove this.
If there is a log or something similar, then we can have a regular review process in place to ensure nothing "more" was done, and this will address the audit concerns.

This is a must feature and should have some idea on how to track that who has made the changes as it can lead to business functions showing unexpected behavior

Upvoted the idea. This is really critical to audit who has made the updates at admin level and to what component and what was the value before change. We had a case where an SFTP server was deleted by someone by mistake, we had no option to check and find who did this.
