Raised originally in SR 3-21411028631, the Dev team advised that this subject areas limitation is not being able to include the Absence Plan Name attribute with the facts (measures) as delivered.
Use Case and Business Need
Need to include the Absence Plan Name attribute from the Absence Plan dimension to provide business with various group by's including said column along with the facts (measures) without running into granularity issues,
Specific use case is to produce a set of views for business in order for the direct supervisor (manager) to better manage employees upcoming planned absences (who's on the team is away when?).
More details
The workaround for now is to derive the days away via simple formula between Date Start and Date End (dim: Assignment Absence Details). This allow the use of the Absence Plan Name within the views.
