Enabling Auditing and Diagnostics in OAC

Oracle Analytics Cloud leverages the OCI Logging Service to let you enable Audit and Diagnostic logging for OAC.

 AUDIT LOG captures the following  User Activities in OAC :

• Catalog Object : Create, update, delete, and permission change operations on all catalog objects, such as classic analyses, dashboards, workbooks, etc. in both Shared Folder and My Folder
• Export: Data export operations for reports, dashboards, and workbooks to formats such as CSV, Excel, Powerpoint, PDF, and so on.
• Publisher: Administration and configuration activity for pixel-perfect reports, such as connections, run-time properties, delivery channels, etc.
• Security: Create and delete operations for user-defined application roles. User role assignments, and policy store changes.
• Semantic models: Upload and download of semantic models (RPD files), updates to connection pools and variables.
• Settings: Changes to system settings, and configuration activities for mail server, virus scanner, etc.
• Snapshots: Lifecycle management operations such as create, delete, and restore snapshots, import and export snapshots.
• Workbooks: Export and import workbooks as DVA packages.

DIAGNOSTIC LOG captures the query logging of the queries generated by the OAC workbooks/reports, etc.
