HI
I wanted to ask if any of the OAS or OAC developers/customers uses it above Snowflake ?
Is there a dedicated connector between them ? if not, what is the best way to do that ?
Thanks
Yossi
Hi Yossi,
Yes - we have many customers/developers using OAC on top of Snowflake.
We do have a dedicated connector for Snowflake Data Warehouse:
Please find the documentation here: https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/acsds/connect-snowflake-data-warehouse.html#GUID-BA2D5623-D18F-47DD-B9B1-FF23C3DFDDAA
Yes. It is available in OAS, too. Here is the documentation. Check the table under "Data Sources Supported for Use with Oracle Analytics Server" for Snowflake data source:
This screenshot comes from OAS:
Ezequiel.
Thank you very much, Ezequiel (and Ben) for this info.
Much appreciated.
This is important to us, as we are about to start a POC using Snowflake and OAS.
Thanks!,
Additionally, please look at the table under "Data Sources Supported for Use with Oracle Analytics Cloud" for additional information on using Snowflake.
It can be used in Data Visualization with Datasets and in a model (either using the online Semantic Modeler or the Model Administration Tool). Look at above link for more details and at the following link, too:

HI Ben,
Glad to hear!
Thanks for the information.
Is this connector available also for OAS (or will it be ) ?
Thanks a lot,
Anyone has any idea why the OAC documentation on custom viz is not available now? I was able to access till last week - https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/acsdv/build-package-extension.html. Does this mean OAC doesnt support custom viz or custom workbook extensions?
Does Oracle Analytics Server 2026 include AI features such as a built-in chatbot or AI Assistant? If not, are there any plans or indications that these AI capabilities will be introduced in a future OAS release?
