Hi Mitch,
Thanks for circling back! not many come back and share their results on a community forum. This will absolutely help someone else!. I was leaning that direction, but it is sometimes a bit difficult to get the fine-grain details via a public forum.
Thanks again!

@Temoryian Is there any further updates on this issue here. We recently upgraded from OAS 6.4 to 7.0, and same issue, none of the DVs or workbooks are possible to export?

Hi, @Arka Mukherjee
This is an old, closed thread. Best to open a new thread and provide all your details, screenshots, what exactly you are trying to export and to which format, etc. How you upgraded (in-place, or out-of-place)?
You can always copy the URL and add to your post.. I'm having an issue similar to [URL]
As you can read from above, the issue took a bit to sort out the details that permission sets needed to be added and the issue was resolved, but each issue could be slightly different, so the details matter.0 -
@SteveF-Oracle, Thanks for coming back on this. Luckily we found the solution, it was indeed related to application polices related permissions for BIConsumer.
Upgrade was Out-of-Place, post which the 'export' option in DVs, Workbooks were not working(on clicking the 'export' option, it did nothing, not even any error).
Eventually the below permissions were added to BIConsumer, and post restart it worked.
./grantPermissionSetsToBIRole.sh -r BIConsumer -p va.interactor,rdc.consumer,oracle.bi.tech.dv.consumer,oracle.bi.dss.CustomKnowledge.consumer,bip.consumer,actio.viewer,rdc.monitor,rdc.consumer1
