FAW Custom Decks, Cards, and KPIs Migration Utility Now Available

Please note FAW Decks, Cards, and KPIs will be replaced in 24.R1 (early 2024). This functionality is moving to Oracle Analytics Cloud. All Oracle-created content has been upgraded/migrated in 23.R2 release. You can migrate your custom decks and KPIs using this utility. Your custom detail dashboards will require manual review/update/fix.

In Release 23.R2 – All OOB decks/cards were migrated to OAC Tiles as Key-Metrics – any Customer created FAW Instance after Aug-30th will not have Decks/Cards options – any Instance created before Aug-30th customer should know this functionality is moving to OAC. All Oracle-created content decks/cards has been upgraded. Customers can  now migrate custom decks and KPIs using migrate utility in FAW console. Your custom detail dashboards will require manual review/fix.

In 23.R3 In-App FAW Banner for All Customers with Decks/Cars 

FAW Console has a new Migrate Tile:

Customer’s can Test/Perform Upgrade, then review the report for any Errors/Attentions FIX them and then Run Migrate again – this will overwrite earlier migrate content.

Please note that the folder you create will be appended to the /Shared Folders/custom content path so that it ends up in "custom" and will be editable.

There are few knows reasons why Migrate can fail – customers/support should make sure those fixed are applied per FAW_Documentation and then migrate can be tried again. The utility's Migration Details will provide a Status and Notes. Further troubleshooting based on those can be found in the documentation.
