CSV Data Export from Pivot chart with expanded hierarchy
Organization Name
Oracle Corporation , Jejuair
Description
One of our customer (Jeju air) recently open the ADW-OAC based Analytics Platform finaly
They prefer private env. so they have private subnet for OAC and ADW
and using site to site VPN to connect OAC for every user
also in each personal PC for excel file is encryted after they using it
so, They prefer to use CVS format intead of Excel File.
Use Case and Business Need
Issue :
When They're trying to export the Pivot chart with expanded hierarchy with CSV Data Format
It cannot export the spreaded hierarchy data but only the inintially folded data only
So, They really want to export the pivot table (using hierarchy)as seen, to the csv
(Using Excel, They can download the data as seen, but They cannot using excel for the encryted issue)

Dear Oracle Team.
We are experiencing a lot of inconvenience because this feature is currently not supported.
We think that this enhancement item is needed and It will be more effective for us to use OAC.
Best Regards

CSV is a view of the data in a simple row/column format. Can you create an example from sample data of what you are looking for? The purpose of supporting excel format is to allow things like a pivot table.

Hi Jason,
CSV is form of a flat text file format and will not allow export of data that is formatted or hierarchical in nature. We have a request in our backlog to support hierarchy format in Excel format - this request has not been planned for a future release yet.

Excel would work. As an alernative -- copy data and then paste in to a CSV will do this:

Thanks for your reply. sorry for making you confused. Customer do not want hierarchy or formatted in the CSV.
but just like what customer see in the analysis. like Bret Grinslade's alernative sample.
for example, in classic, customer want like below
The feature exports data exactly as it appears on the screen in terms of the number of rows, without considering hierarchy or formatting.

@Bret Grinslade Thanks for your comment, I really appriciate your comments and guide.
"Copy data" would be good for DV
but Jeju air customer mainly use classic dashbaord also,
so I tested it with classic table or pivot chart but there is no option like "Copy Data"
