Let's agree to disagree...
In a forum (like this one), it is similar to a double posting: doesn't bring anything useful other than increasing artificially the count of posts. (And this is why since forever double posting is a forbidden thing in the world of forums.)
For example: what if a discussion with some useful content was happening in the other post about this topic? People searching will have 50% chances to miss it, because they open the "empty" thread.
But you (intended as Oracle in general) should consider a blog where you can write about these things: it would be a better knowledge base than a forum for content that doesn't expect interactions (replies) by default. A single address where all these useful videos, or how-to etc., about features are collected.
