While creating a credit memo in oracle fusion in credit transactions i am facing the below error.

You can't overapply this transaction. (AR-855287)

The transaction type assigned to the transaction doesn't allow overapplication. You can only apply a credit or receipt amount up to, but not over, the outstanding balance on the transaction.

Did anyone get back to you on this as a customer is also having the same issue?

I referred to this document regarding the Manage Transaction Type for Credit Memo to check the Over Application box which it already has been checked for the customer config but it still comes up with this error as well as error "You cannot increase the balance of this transaction. (AR-855658)".
