Gauge Extension

Hi there!

I had downloaded an extension called "DialGaugeViz" from the OAC extensions page. It was working fine, now, the gauges are not showing. When I went to search for that plug in in the extensions library, I am not finding it. Could you please let me know if anyone else is having the same problem?

Prasenjit sent me the updated version and it is working fine. It looks beautiful. I cannot thank you enough for helping me out. You guys are awesome. Thank you thank you thank you .. a million times :-)

I was worried about the demo we have in about 2 hours. I just got it in time.😊

Hi Philippe,

The demo went very well and the users were very happy to see the work our development team has done. Of course, there were some feedback about the gauges being too big and able to control the colors of the ranges on the gauges, but that was expected from some power users. Pransen has also emailed me saying that some of those issues will be fixed before you release it for public consumption.

Your timely help is much appreciated. I was very disappointed that the gauges weren't showing up and we had a very important demo to the customers. Your intervention and Prasen's prompt response was the key to the success of our demo.

The native gauge data visualization is now available in OAC March 2025 release.

Hello @Vatsa, an issue came up with the recent upgrade of OAC and a fixed version of the extension is now available in the public analytics library https://www.oracle.com/business-analytics/data-visualization/extensions/. Can you re download it from there and confirm it resolves your problem ?

I tried deleting the extension and uploading the old extension zip file I had downloaded. Still it is not working. Is there a new version of that extension?

Hi @Vatsa my mistake, I unfortunately confused with another extension that we posted a fix for (Gantt chart). The dial gauge extension is being fixed right now, but not yet posted on the library. I am going to reach out by email to you and the person who is fixing it right now, hoping he can share a draft version on time for your demo. check the gmail email that you have in your profile, sending in a few minutes.
