Why can't I download BI Publisher output using Firefox anymore?

My Firefox updated to Version 123 yesterday (Feb 20, 2024), and I now I can't download BI Publisher output anymore. When I click on the report output after navigating to it (Navigate to Report, Click More, Select History, Click Report Job Name for report that I want to open, Click Output1). After clicking Output1, I see a brief flash of "Downloading Output1", but it goes away very quickly without actually downloading the report to Downloads. I am not having the same issue when using Edge, but we were advised by our Oracle implementation team back in 2017 that Firefox was the preferred browser to use with Oracle Fusion. This issue started after Firefox updated to version 123 yesterday. Please note that I am still able to download documents from other websites using Firefox 123 but not Oracle Fusion (Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications 24A (11.13.24.01.0). . Does anyone know of any settings that I can change to restore this functionality when using Firefox? I also posted a question on the Firefox forum, but so far, no responses. Thanks.

    I had an odd issue about a month ago, same thing in inquire on detail balances screen.

    It was intermittent and self-resolved, I had an SR but never found root cause.

    Suggest trying in incognito mode, see if you can download

    Also try to clear cookies/temp files (from beginning of time).

    This is a known issue since 23D with Firefox. Oracle has not released a fix for it. You can download outputs without any issue with Chrome/Edge.

    Solutions in the doc id # Unable to download scheduled report output from the Report Job History page using FireFox (Doc ID 2996480.1) are given below.

    Alternate solution 1

    Use the /xmlpserver URL in the Firefox browser to download the report output from the Report Job History page

    Alternate solution 2

    Use Chrome or Edge browser to download the output file

    Alternate solution 3

    Deliver the output from the job history page to an email/FTP/content server destination through the send feature available on the job history page.

    Login to Fusion cloud service

    Navigate to Tools > Report & Analytics

    Click Browse Catalog

    Navigate to Report Job History Page >Search and Open the Report Job Name

    Click Send to deliver the output to Destination Type

    Choose the destination type (Email/FTP/Content Server) and click Add destination

    Enter the destination details and click OK.

    Use the 'Republish' option from the job history for small-sized reports

    Login to Fusion cloud service

    Navigate to Tools > Report & Analytics

    Click Browse Catalog

    Navigate to Report Job History Page >Search and Open the Report Job Name

    Click Republish

    Export the report output.

    Change the output format to PDF and download the output file
