Unable to update or revert the values in writeback report in OAS

Hi Team,

Recently we have migrated from OBIEE 12c to OAS. we have existing writeback reports those are working fine and as giving the results with success massage like "updated successfully" when we were test.

But while I am going to create new report using writeback columns (same columns used in the existing reports) from the write back subject area, I am getting the below error message in the new report.

"The system is unable to read the Write Back Template 'Sample Test'. Please contact your service administrator."

can someone please assist on this?

You should be able to find it in below location in your OBIEE 12c installation.

Click Console, then click System Settings.
In Writeback Template XML, paste in the write-back template

can you please brief bit more where can I get the writeback template? is that from the created report or any separate file. Since I didn't implement this earlier.

Thanks for the information, I am able to find out the issue now.

In write back template I saw that column ids were defined, using existing report XML column ids. when I am trying to create the new report in OAS it is creating with the new column ids in XML.

So finally, solution is we need to update the writeback template with new column ids using XML file.
