Passing Dashboard Parameters to Detail Report

Description (Required): We have a requirement where users are expecting the dashboard parameters passed on to the detail report while clicking the report, currently only option available is data links and that is not a very user friendly option.
Use Case and Business Need (Required):
Users have built Summary and Detail reports and they are expecting to see same parameters which are passed on to Summary report to be carried forward to Detail report like master - detail linking option available in Classic Home. They don't want to go for Action Links option and don't want to right click and navigate. They want to just left click navigate and carry forward to the applied prompts.
