What happens to OBIEE Scorecards after upgrade to OAS

HI All,
If we have couple of scorecards (OBIEE 12c) in dashboards What happens to them after upgrade to OAS (2023 or 2024 like /analytics URL).
like taking snapshot and deploy it in OAS.
the section of scorecards in dashboard going to error out, or just a blank place with red X, or any view gets replaced in place of scorecard.
TIA

Hi @VijayDeenaNathChouhan ,
I was kind of curios, so I did a quick test.
In OAS, the scorecards never load, and the animation spins (expected). So, that answers your specific question about "what happens".OSSM was deprecated in OBI 12.2.1.2 timeframe, as per the link @Sumanth V -Oracle provided that links to the MOS Doc ID.
As per the note, the recommended path is to build/use visualizations in Workbooks as a replacement.1

Hi @User_7AY08,
Scorecard and Strategy Management feature is desupported and no longer available with OAS (Oracle Statement Of Direction for Oracle Scorecard & Strategy Management Product (OSSM) - Oracle Support Doc ID 2530313.1.),
Please refer to the following documentation for more information:
There are plenty of custom extensions available on
, you can try any one these extended visualizations whichever is close enough for your use case.Hope this helps!
Thanks & Regards,

@User_7AY08 - The Scorecard and Strategy Management feature from OBIEE is de-supported in OAS, meaning that Oracle no longer fixes bugs related to that feature and could remove the feature entirely.

Hi,
To be fair I never tried. That type of objects can't be created anymore, there are good chances the code has been fully removed.
I imagine they will just be "unknown" kind of objects. I don't expect them to display anything useful (no data), and probably an error of "unknown" object could be visible in the page.
But again, I didn't try because it was announced as being a piece removed from OAS since day 1 (back in 2020).
