There are plenty of scenarios where the companies need to hide few sections in DV (similar what we do in OBIEE) in order to hide reports or to place hidden prompts (with conditions or just simply with Display:None kind of css formatting conditions). This will be vital to create any intermediate logics based on presentation variables and pass the output to report to populate desired output, which may otherwise cannot be created with the user prompt- report communication directly. In Summary, if OAC DV provides extra features on top of the existing OBIEE features any business can benefit enormously and it will be easy to take forward with the business for a switch.
