Oracle Analytics Cloud - Hidden Sections in DV (like in OBIEE)

There are plenty of scenarios where the companies need to hide few sections in DV (similar what we do in OBIEE) in order to hide reports or to place hidden prompts (with conditions or just simply with Display:None kind of css formatting conditions). This will be vital to create any intermediate logics based on presentation variables and pass the output to report to populate desired output, which may otherwise cannot be created with the user prompt- report communication directly. In Summary, if OAC DV provides extra features on top of the existing OBIEE features any business can benefit enormously and it will be easy to take forward with the business for a switch.

Workbook Canvases do not have sections. However, we currently plan for an ability to hide specific visualizations (without regaining space at this point).

Thank you for the update. The goal is to

1. Hide/unhide sections of the canvases based on conditions / custom prompt value selection
2. Create hidden prompts to write any intermediate logics between dashboard/canvas custom prompts and the visuals, as may needed based on business use-cases.
