Visible only the report the user has access to, and hide all others
Hi,
OTBI security is based on BI Administrator, Author and Consumer roles.
Is there a way to restrict a user to see a analysis they only have access to and hide all others?
For example, below 7 analysis has permission to BI Administrator, Author and Consumer roles.
How do I allow a user to see only one report?

Best to prepare a security matrix document of roles that users who need access and users who don't need access. You would need to remove at least "Consumer roles" and then restrict access to the roles that should not see this report.
Just remember, if the users who are supposed to access these reports also have same role (that are restricted) they would not be able to view as well - most restrictive access applies.
Also instead of changing permission in 7 report organise them in folders (if possible so you can manage access based on folder)

As Bharat mentioned, setting permissions at the Folder level is much more efficient. It becomes an administrative nightmare trying to manage individual report permissions, especially when migrating catalogs between environments.
An alternative option is to create a Dashboard with links to individual reports. You can configure the dashboard sections (each report on the screenshot below is a separate section) with their own permissions, so users can or cannot see the report depending on your requirement. This may be preferable if you want to try and dissuade your report users from browsing round the catalog folder structure (though it is difficult to prevent them from being able to access the catalog completely).

Ah.. Thank you very much guys.
Man… this is so much work. I'll have to start with removing the delivered "BI Consumer role" from the folders.
