Profile Item being created for an Employee while accessing for the first time

The Oracle Profile Management Team has updated that a profile item is automatically generated for the Career Preference and Work Preference sections when accessed for the first time in DB. Subsequently, the same record requires editing as per the FA design. This intended behavior in FA is affecting the FAW dashboard by activating a profile, which ideally should not happen if someone visits the preference page without making any changes to the employee's active profile.
