Downloadable import map files from UCM are all set to default as Calculation Options - Manual, which in turn defaults other open excel files to Manual. The Team is working with different shared excel file tools all the time and it gets very tedious and unproductive to constantly check this setting and revert it back to Automatic. Failure to check results in various incorrect calculations (because calculations are not updating) used in BOS and other information.

Is there any way to set the default calculation setting to Automatic such that these files won't override that setting?

    Hi,

    Welcome to the forum!

Is the question really about Publisher? Are you asking how you could generate Excel files from Publisher with that option?

Or is it a question about something else, more related to Fusion as cloud product?

Based on your answers it will be possible to move the question to the right category if needed, or to point you to the right forum if it's a different community in charge of it.

    Hi Ceresa,

It's more related to Oracle Fusion Product Hub. When we download the import map template file from Oracle Product Information Management, the downloaded Excel file has the calculation option set as 'Manual' in the formula tab which in turn also overrides all the calculation option settings in our local machine and sets them 'Manual' from 'Automatic'.

Excel formulas do not work well when the calculation option is Manual. Is there any way we can change the excel template settings in Oracle Cloud?

  • Ok,

This to me doesn't sound like an Oracle Analytics product, but more like a Fusion product.

Therefore you should post your question in the forum covering the Fusion products: https://community.oracle.com/customerconnect

Have a look at the various categories there and try to find the one being the best match for your question.
