Audit Framework for Data Load from SFTP

We are using SFTP data source. When the data is loaded, there is no log of any failures,
As an data steward I should be able to verify that all the rows in my source files have loaded into the target database table. I should be able to see the reason for rejection.
I should be able to run the data load in verification mode to ensure that all the rows will load correctly and to correct any data load issues before running the data load in update mode.
I should be able to see the number of rows that will be effected by each error code.
