How to migrate 11.1.1.7 catalog to 11.1.1.9?

Hi

What is the correct way to deploy an OBIEE 11.1.1.7 catalog onto an OBIEE 11.1.1.9 environment?

I tried to archive the 11.1.1.7 catalog and unarchive it on 11.1.1.9 but this process runs and runs and runs and seems like it will never finish. If I cancel the upload it created just one folder and sub folder, but it is empty. So an I missing some steps to make the 11.1.1.7 catalog compatible with 11.1.1.9?
