Data Marker Numbers are appearing in Horizontal in the Vertical bar chart. Is there any way to change it to appear vertically? since the numbers are appearing on top of other.

  • Hi,

Knowing that there are 3 places where charts can be built, what part of the product are using? DV? "classic" analysis? Publisher?

And if you also post a product name and version if could also help.

Without going into the answer itself, your numbers have a font that is "taller" than the width of your bars: having numbers vertically will not change much the numbers appearing on top of others. When your chart is too dense, you just can't display the number, because the chart is there to show a trend or compare "visually" a bar with another. You can consider having a table/pivot next the chart with just the numbers.

It doesn't look like there is a control on the orientation of the markers. Have you tried other visualisation types? A stacked bar chart is one worth trying.

It might also be worth posting this as an idea in the Ideas Lab.
