OBIEE Report Title View - Help URL

Hi There,

In the OBIEE report title view - Help URL:

After we add a link, a question mark appears besides title which will direct user to an URL when user clicks on that.

I don't like the question mark, is there a way to replace the question mark icon with a different icon?

Inside your style. Vanilla = ..../s_blafp/views/help.gif both in 11g (skyros) and 12g (alta).

But do NOT change that file in the vanilla style. Do a proper deployment of a custom style + skin and change it there.

11.1.1.7 is the version that I am using.

Can we specify the size of the new window after the user click on the question mark?

can we have the window pop up instead of an additional tab? are we able to specify the size of the new window?

It's a web app based on CSS, XML etc. Basically you can do just about anything. Question being: Is that really so crucial a requirement?

yes, that is a requirement that we have.

The user wants to have the a separate pop up window instead of opening the new page in the new tab....

As I said you can do it. Get Firebug and go hunting.

Does the Help URL field in report title view take html code?

The file controlling it does.
