Finance Account Hierarchy modeling question
Oracle Analytics Server 6.4
Oracle Database 12c
We are in the process of migrating to a cloud based financial consolidation tool. Tool will provide an export of the account hierarchy to build the income statement and Balance sheet and another export with the corresponding amounts (Fact Table). OAS users need to be able to create new reports including information like Gross Profit, Total assets etc. But these information are at different levels of account hierarchy which is of type skipped. What is best way to model this. I have 500+ lines in the account hierarchy table which include details for Income statement and Balance sheet.

@Ebin Cherian Since you are using OAS I am assuming you are using the Model Administration tool for your modelling here.
Refer: Create Dimensions in Level-Based Hierarchies
NOTE: As your Dimension is a skip-level dimension, you need to select Skipped Levels.
