Creating new database connection on Oracle Spatial Studio

Good day,

Please kindly advise, we are currently trying to create a new database connection to join with the GIS custom layer data we have uploaded in Oracle Spatial Studio. When I create the database connection I get the below error. However, I can easily create a database connection on our other platforms like BI Publisher. Is Oracle Spatial studio setup differently?

As per Error its an schema db user privileges issue

Hi @Sisanda ,

First of all: you are asking in the wrong place. Oracle Spatial Studio is not an Oracle Analytics product. It isn't covered in this forum. Google gave me https://community.oracle.com/mosc/categories/spatial as a forum that could be good for it.

And the tool is just telling you that connections you create in there requires some more privileges. Spatial Studio seems to be able to do more than just read data, that is what other applications like Publisher would do.

But still, you should ask in that different forum for any question about Spatial Studio.
