Where can we find the documentation about the datamodel of a Subject Area?
When adding an Attribute in FDI using Semantic Model Extensions (SME) we have to understand the datamodel of the Subject Area.
Also when we try to combine data from 2 Subject Areas with a Common Dimension and a Fact from both Subject Areas we often get wrong values (Facts) or the values of all rows are the same.
To solve this we have to understand the datamodel. Raising a SR for all these cases takes to much time. Also the knowledge of Oracle Support people on this is not sufficient.
It will help us (and Oracle Support) when a total overview of the data model of each Subject Area is available.

Hi Ram,
thanks for your quick respons. When we see the same Fact value for different dimension attribute values, it seems that a connection between that attribute and the fact in the data model is missing. We don't see that in the documentation. How can we check this in the system?0 -
@Roelof de Groot Could you please share the latest above query with screenshots.

@Roelof de Groot Currently in FDI, Customer's do not have the ability to access the deployed RPD(Semantic Model) in anyway. With the Enhanced SME framework we provide the ability to see the relationships between Facts and Dimensions in visual form. But that still does not give the ability to check all the attributes being involved in the tables nor it gives the ability to see 2 facts at the same time.
My suggestion would be to log an Idea Labs Request requesting this ability to be considered for future FDI releases.0 -
@Ashish-Oracle , thanks. We will do this
