Dynamic layout adjustment for hidden visualizations

With the OAC November 2024 Update, you can show or hide visualizations based on the selected value of a parameter.
Currently, when a visualization is hidden based on a parameter in OAC, it leaves a blank space in the canvas, disrupting the layout. This issue is particularly evident when using the Autofit layout, as it prevents the effective use of visibility parameters to simulate a classic view selector. As a result, users are forced to use the Freeform layout, which does not automatically adapt to different screen sizes, limiting flexibility and usability
To enhance usability and aesthetics, the blank space should be dynamically redistributed across the remaining visualizations. This could follow a configurable rule, such as by row or column, ensuring a seamless and adaptive layout that maintains visual harmony.

Thanks for the idea submission. We plan to improve the rendering of visualizations (reorder the layout) for Autofit layout. It is currently in our backlog, as we have other high priority features in the pipeline that we need to address.
Thanks
Avinash

Agreed, the autofit config is much easier to maintain but the new show/hide feature does leave an awkward "what is missing" blank spot. Thank you Avinash for keeping this in the backlog.
