SCM Inventory on-hand balance
As with the std, inventory SA for the on-hand inventory balance oracle has given only for the 12 months of balance as they are using snapshot table at the backend for the same.
Not sure the real reason besides, but it needs to be improved as it should fetch for all the remaining back dated years as well. This behaviour is observed both in Inventory - On hand balance and Inventory turns SA.
At the customers points of view, having all the historical analysis for all the SA except this inventory on-hand balance and turns is not settling well as they are also expecting the historical needs for the on-hand balance business area as well.
Either we need to know the strong backing from oracle on the real reason besides this behaviour in order to justify with the customers nor they have to improve this feature in the upcoming release.
