I know there is no view currently in OBIEE to get a bar-line-area chart. But can this be achieved by using any third party tools? Also can this be done in BI Publisher?

If something does not exist out of the box, then just go to the OBI SampleApp page: OBIEE Samples

You will find tons of 3rd party visualization examples - many with D3js or Oracle JET for the very last instance.
Note: You will probably NOT find the exact and precise example you are looking for and I will not write the D3 or JET code for it. Looks at the examples. Understand how it's done. And then do yours.

First of all apologies for responding to the old thread ( and yes I do realize that this one is an answered one too) but probably this would have the right context.
I was trying to try my hands on with some BI Examples and stumbled upon your response.
Unfortunately while I am unable to access the link:

says "This page cant be displayed. Make sure the web address http://slc02okq.oracle.com:7780 is correct."
For the other two the Homepage comes up but when I use Prodney / Admin123 it says invalid credentials.
Maybe the credentials have changed over time. it would be very kind of you if you could pass on a working set.
