OAC Saving error for PNG file in canvas.

Question

Hi Group,

we found an error when we upload a png file in our new environment,

but it's ok when we upload the same png file in another environment.

The message is:

"An error was encountered while saving the workbook: Unexpected file extension type PNG found"

Please Kindly help!

Neither OAC nor on-prem have options under the security section to restrict by file type (I manually confirmed).

Agree looks like AI generated garbage.

Do you mind sharing a screenshot of where you restrict, or allow, a PNG in Console > System Settings > Security?

Because I don't see that in OAC, and I also don't remember having seen that (but right now I only have a “special” instance handy, therefore it could be something on that instance)

The same would apply to how to check the version in OAC via Console > About: there isn't such a thing in OAC as far as I know (the "About" is on the menu clicking the user profile icon on the top-right).

That reply looks strongly like AI generated content: is that the case? If it's the case, at least add a note saying it's generated by AI.

Because right now I struggle to see how useful or helpful it is if not really valid for OAC…
