I need to upgrade an OAS 2023 BI server I inherited because support and patching ended this month ( I just applied the latest January sb patch for windows that was available )… Do you recommend I upgrade to 2024 24.7.6.0 and apply the latest patch or go to the new 2025 24.8.2.0 ? Since 2025 was just released then I take it there are no patches to apply ? I don't see any documentation for 2025 in the OAS patching doc ID 2832967.2. I'm guessing if we install 2025 then there will be a CPU/stack bundle patch to apply in 3 months roughly when the next quarterly patches get sent out?
We are on windows server if that helps with the recommendation.
