Backslash \ not displaying in the text box of an XPT layout

Customer would like to retrieve in the report output the text that was provided as input in a Text box from an XPT layout even if the string contains backslashes(\) or double backslashes (\\)

Steps to replicate:

1. Login to BI Publisher
2. Navigate to where the report is located
3. Edit report
4. Click on Edit layout
5. In the Layout editor got to Insert>text Box
6. Add a string in the text box that contains
7. backslashes(\) or double backslashes (\\) ex: \\werty or \werty
8. Click on Save
9. Click on Done to view report output (it can be interactive view)
10. The string that was previously input in the text box does not show \\ or \ anymore, it shows only "werty"
