Assets cross subject area analysis using Asset Calendar dimension; currently has limitations.

As per below document , "Financials - Assets Analysis" and "Financials - Assets Transactions" subject areas should be cross joined using "Asset Calendar" time dimension:
https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/analytics/25r1/faiae/appendix-report-authoring-tips-erp.html#GUID-AC96F315-4385-49F8-9EB2-7ECFCB15AB64__GUID-A743EDCB-18E8-4BFD-97CC-2B6B38F09408
But its not possible to use "Asset Calendar" for cross subject analysis since the "Asset Period" in "Financials - Assets Analysis" ties back to GL Accounting period but "Asset Period" in "Financials - Assets Transactions" works on Transaction period/transaction date.
Fusion allows transaction to be made in a period outside of GL accounting period and hence these two periods can be out of sync. Hence, whenever the transaction date will be outside of GL accounting period, it is not possible to display details from Asset Analysis S.A. and Asset Transactions S.A on the same analysis/workbook/same row and also not possible to create any custom calculations using metrics from both subject areas.
Hence, the way FDI Asset Calendar is modeled differently in both of these subject areas poses a limitation currently and should be corrected, so that "Asset Calendar" or another time dimension like "Fiscal Calendar" can become a truly conformed dimension which can tie the two assets subject areas together.
