Broken Axis in Waterfall Visualization

I'm trying to create a Waterfall visualization in OAC with an axis break, but unable to do so 'out of the box'.
I've been told that Analytics Publisher might be able to help but this type of chart is fairly common in financial reports I've seen in the past, so wondered if there was any possibility that this functionality might be build into the Waterfall visualization in OAC as standard?
Also, trying to add a background shared area on top of a waterfall chart. Happy to add an image of what I'm trying to replicate, but can't see where to do this? Again, is there an easier way to do this other than use the Publisher?
