External RPD Migration from Test to Prod with Non-Identical environments

Hi,
External RPD Migration from Test to Prod should allow even when Test and Prod are not 100% similar.
We recently encountered an issue while migrating External RPD from Test to Prod. Please refer to the SR 4-0000462400 for more details. The response we received indicated that the Prod must be 100% replica of Test instance which is not feasible.
For example, we have enabled Budgetary Control (Not GA yet) and Configurable Account Analysis in our Test instance. These features can only be enabled them in Prod once they are Generally Available and produce the expected results.
This shouldn't prevent customers from migrating their External RPD to Production.
