Oracle ERP Cloud - Customize seeded Report - xdmz file not being recognized

I followed several links posted by the community in understanding how to customize a seeded BI Publisher report under shared folder catatlog.
However, when i try to re-upload back the xdmz file after I added my changes into the query its not recognizing this file to be used by the report. Here are few screenshots that I see bi publisher not recognizing the new file. Any suggestions or help would be highly appreciated. Has any one of you tried customizing a seeded report in 24D? did something change? The renaming of zip file to .xdmz, I have to do it using linux rename command and in windows it doesnt let me zip it in xdmz.

Hi @User_5JFH0,
Welcome to the Oracle Analytics Community.
Once you login to your fusion and analytics environment, please use the following url to login to BIP console and the try uploading, it should work fine.
https://<YOUR POD>.oraclecloud.com/xmlpserver
<YOUR POD> It is the address of your environment.
Now go to the folder where you want to upload and select the upload.
Hope this help.
Thank you.

Hi @User_5JFH0 ,
Welcome to Oracle Analytics community.
As noted by the comment from Oracle PM and Bhaskar in above post, in the thread you shared, for any customization of seeded data models, you need to use /xmlpserver. Link below to specific comment:
Please let me know if you are still facing an issue even after following above steps.
Thanks.

The input to make use of the XMLPSERVER in the link helped me upload. One step before that Windows doesnt support renaming to unknown file types. In this case "XDMZ", i used the Command prompt instead of going to file properties to ren the zip file to xdmz. Thanks for the help!
However, I noticed that the seeded dm starts referring to the custom report that I just created instead of the seeded report once I uploaded the custom report despite I run the seeded report directly.

That is the expectation. When you customize a report, it will update the existing copy as well in the seeded folders. So, whenever you run, it will always run custom report.
Thanks.
