How to add more roles to user.

Question

I created a user following the directions on this http://www.redstk.com/oracle-weblogic-12c-creating-users-and-groups/  link. However, I can't see where to apply the roles such as BICONSUMER, BI Content author, BI service Administrator etc. I tried going to the management console but I don't see anything in there. Where can I add more reporting security roles to newly created users?

Thanks Andrew for the response. I'll give this a good read. I was trying to do a little testing with roles and conceptually understand how these pieces fit together.

This tutorial covers only a half or less of OBIEE security concept. OBIEE itself works with application roles, not LDAP groups.

And have in mind that security is not something you do with a hit and miss approach following different how-tos from the internet: 1 Introduction to Security in Oracle Business Intelligence
