How to Extract Data from EPM Cubes in NSAW?

Hi everyone,

I was able to successfully connect EPM Cloud to NSAW and can now see the four cubes. However, I’m trying to understand the best way to get data out of these cubes for reporting.

Netsuite.Plan, Netsuite. Detail, Netsuite.Rpt Netsuite. Workforce

I attempted to use them as datasets for report creation, but the data doesn’t seem to be available—despite there being data present in EPM. Has anyone run into this before?

Are there any guides or best practices on how to access and report on data from EPM cubes within NSAW?

You can use the EPM connectors available in NSAW to fetch the data from EPM and build reports on top of it. Please refer to https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/analytics/25r1/fawag/manage-data-connections.html#GUID-ACC2D1B4-7722-4D3C-93EF-CF6C26814FCF

You mentioned that you tried creating a dataset based on EPM cubes but the data doesn't seem to be available. This could be because of data level of security of the user that executes the query. Hi @BalagurunathanBagavathy-Oracle, thanks! Are there any specific permissions required to access the EPM data from NSAW? I do have administrator rights on EPM Cloud, but I’m still not seeing the data.

Hi @Priya Chary I would think of data level security. Please check if you are able to see the data in EPM cloud directly by logging in as the same user.
