How to join Oracle BI Analysis report and BIP data model

Hello Everyone,

I'm trying to create a BIP data model which consists of core_hr data attributes retrieved via SQL and other attributes from Oracle BI Analysis(answer Report). I was able to view both the data sets(BIP and OTBI) but was not able create the link for join and I don’t see Oracle BI Analysis data attributes for linkage. Does anyone was able to join BIP data model and Oracle BI Analysis(answer Report)? Is it possible to join ? Please let me know.

Hi Varun,

 It is not feasible to link analysis data set with other data sets. Use Logical SQL to create dataset instead of analysis.

Hi Anil, Just confirming it is not possible to create a Data Model from Analysis option in the below screenshot?

Hello @VarunG,
You can run them in separate data sets but cannot be linked.
Data sets from different data sources cannot be linked in Fusion BI Publisher Data model.

You can log an Idea in Idea Labs.
