We would like to understand the reason for the difference in configuration options for the “Send Message to Team” action across the Redwood VBCS Recruiting pages.
Currently, we observe the following behavior:
- On the Job Requisition and Job Requisition List pages, it is possible to hide/remove the “Send Message to Team” action through VBCS configuration.
- However, on the Job Application and Job Application List pages, there does not appear to be an option to hide or remove the same “Send Message to Team” action.
- On the Job Application page, other fields and components can be configured, including making certain fields visible/hidden, required, or optional, but the “Send Message to Team” action cannot be hidden.
Could you please clarify:
- Why is the “Send Message to Team” action configurable on the Job Requisition and Job Requisition List pages but not on the Job Application and Job Application List pages?
- Is this difference in behavior expected by design?
- Is there any alternative supported configuration or privilege that can be used to hide this action from the Job Application pages?
- Is Oracle planning to make the configuration options consistent across these Redwood VBCS pages in future releases?
We would appreciate any clarification on the current product behavior and the planned roadmap, if available.
