How can I use a presentation variable in OTBI to get data based on a parameter?

I have an OTBI report with 'From Date' and 'To Date' parameters. I want to include a column in the report that displays the total amount from the same period in the previous year. For example, if I select a range from January 2023 to December 2023, I want a column that shows the total amount from January 2022 to December 2022. How can I achieve this using presentation variables in OTBI?
