How to confirm users Starting Page in OAC

Hello All,

I have completed the migration of the entire OBIEE 12c catalog to Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and have already validated user roles in the new OAC environment.

However, I’m facing an issue: in the OBIEE 12c environment, based on the user and their provisioned group, the user was automatically redirected to a specific dashboard instead of the default Home Page upon login.
This behavior is not occurring in OAC — users are being redirected to the default Home Page instead.

I’ve already reviewed and confirmed that the groups and roles are correctly aligned between both environments. I also checked the My Account settings for the users, and the Starting Page is set to "Default".

Could someone please advise where I can verify or configure this behavior in OAC?

For OBI 12c, You can grep/search check your presentation server logs to determine what is configured.

The screenshots are out of date, but the steps are valid.

You do not want to have a conflicting Initialization Block Session Variable and a Console setting.

If you are still having issues, then file a service request so someone can have a web share session with you.

Hi,
I may have misread your question about setting it in OAC

In OBI, it can be set with a Session Variable (Initialization Block), and can be overridden by a user in the My Account Preferences.

So you may want to check the repository (RPD) in OBI

You have got my question, and I'm seeing I can set PORTALPATH in OAC according to profile.

However, I don't see the variable on rpd file from OBIEE 12c.
