Dynamic Triggering of FDI Datawarehouse Incremental Refresh
Description: Currently, the options for setting up the FDI Datawarehouse Incremental Refresh are limited to selecting the frequency and the specific time when the refresh pipelines are triggered. It would be beneficial to enhance the system by allowing the FDI pipelines to be triggered based on the completion of a job scheduled in Fusion Application.
Proposed Enhancement: Enable the FDI data refreshes to occur dynamically in response to regular or predictable business events, such as daily posting, month-end close, paycheck processing, or inventory valuation, which affect when the data is ready for reporting. Specifically, the completion of the following three ESS jobs can be used to trigger the FDI Fusion ERP Analytics pipelines:
- GL Posting Job
- Project Performance
- Transfer Balances to Essbase Cube
Benefits:
- Improved data accuracy and timeliness for reporting.
- Enhanced flexibility and responsiveness to business events.
- Reduced manual intervention and scheduling efforts.

@Abhiram Gujjewar-Oracle Please review the above for FDR

it would be good if there is an api that could be used to trigger rather than a Fusion ERP trigger. This makes it more flexible for a customers end to end infrastructure allowing for multiple Fusion processing to complete fully before the trigger is set.
