Add user defined Visual Name with option to Add/Remove on Canvas in Oracle Analytics DV

I'm new to Oracle DV and still figuring out a few things. One area I found challenging is managing visuals at scale due to the lack of a unique identifier or developer-facing label per visual — or the ability to group visuals meaningfully.
While titles can be added for user-facing purposes, I couldn't find a way (at least in Visualize mode) to assign a user-defined name to a visual for purposes like:
- Referencing it during development
- Tracking its ownership or purpose
- Navigating and maintaining complex dashboards
In Oracle BI Classic, there was the option to give a name to the visual object and you could choose to include or exclude it from the results layout — which I found very helpful during development and testing.
A similar feature in Oracle DV would be great, ideally with:
- The ability to assign an internal name or label to each visual
- An option to Add/Remove on Canvas
- Support for tagging or annotating visuals with metadata for better organization
This would make working with larger, multi-page dashboards much more manageable and developer-friendly.
Thanks
Sherry
