Conditional display option for Grand Total based on a parameter
It would be helpful to be able to control whether a grand total column/row will display based on a parameter.
Business use case:
We have a workbook which uses a parameter in a dashboard prompt for users to choose display of metrics in Month to Date (MTD), Year to Date (YTD) or Inception to Date (ITD). Users would like to see a grand total column in a pivot table when the parameter = MTD, but a grand total column is inflated and misleading if they choose YTD or ITD. We need to be able to show grand total only if the parameter = MTD and suppress when YTD or ITD.

Editing to add that this is not an issue in an analysis dashboard page where we have a true "view selector" option and can individually format what is displayed based on a chosen view/parameter.
