OAS 2025 - How to Migrate Advanced System Settings

Hi All,

Good morning. Happy Tuesday.

I'm in the process of migrating OAS 2025 content from DEV to TEST. Is there a recommended way to migrate the advanced system settings (DV>Console>Advanced System Settings) from one env to another? I did a complete BAR copy but it did not bring those settings in.

Hi Sherry,

Happy Tuesday, back at you!

Anything not brought over in a Snapshot (BAR file) will need to be manually updated.

[EDIT: via the UI or REST API Update system settings > Update one or more system setting with a valid key and value.]

This is documented here:

Options When You Take a Snapshot. > Configuration and Settings

Note: System settings aren't included in the snapshot.

Thank you Steve. I manually updated them, was hoping there was a way to script it.

My answer was specific to the snapshot. I didn't think of it at the time, but with OAS 2025 there is a REST API (in addition to the SOAP API)
