As we switch for development of semantic models in OAS to usage of Semantic Modeler (in favour of BI Administration Tool), we are finding out what functionalities from the BI Administration Tool are missing in the Semantic Modeler (and are useful) and would therefore like them to be available in the web-based Semantic Modeler. One of these functionalities is automatic propagation of changes of logical column names to corresponding (mapped) presentation column names. It would be very handy if this functionality will be in place also in web-based Semantic Modeler.

I agree completely! Huge gap! I even tried exporting back to RPD format in order to do a batch of renames in the logical layer and was horribly dismayed to find out that the WSM exported to RPD unchecks the "use logical name" checkbox on ALL presentation fields, making it impossible to even use this as a workaround. It also does not automatically populate the "alternate names" (WSM version of aliases on presentation fields) when you rename a presentation field and you have to set them manually, after the name change has been saved (so you have to change fld name, save, add alt name, and save again).
