Option to Set Default Currency (e.g., INR) in OAC Data Visualization(DV).

Hi Team,

I believe introducing the ability to set a default currency—such as INR (Indian Rupee)—in Oracle Analytics Cloud - Data Visualization (OAC DV) would add significant value. At present, there doesn't appear to be a straightforward way to configure a default currency for visualizations or dashboards, which can be a challenge for users working with non-USD currencies.

Use Case:

For users working in regions outside the default currency (USD), especially in markets like India, having INR as the default currency would greatly enhance usability and localization. Manually formatting each measure with currency formatting becomes tedious and error-prone at scale.

Proposed Enhancement:

• Allow administrators or users to define a default currency at the project, dataset, or user profile level.
• Optionally, support currency formatting based on locale settings or data source metadata.
• Enable currency formatting to be dynamic if the data contains multiple currencies.

"These settings are not applicable to Data Visualization (DV)."

Just to clarify, I’m referring to Data Visualization reports, not Answers/Classic reports.

If you have a different document or an official Oracle reference that confirms this feature is available in DV, could you please share the url/document or point me to the relevant section?
